I received a scholarly formation in Classics and in History (Sorbonne University). I am a senior lecturer in Greek History at the University of Rennes 2. I have been a specialist of the social history of Hellenistic Athens since my Ph. D and I am currently using quantitative methods capable to study epigraphic sources with all the erudition required and to develop the themes of a sociological approach. I am coordinating a collective project of an online prosopographical database (PA-NUM, Prosopographie Attique Numérique) and I am testing the potential of network analysis for prosopographical surveys. I compare different ways of visualising kinship relationships (trees, graphs, structure diagrams as developed by Héran, Figures de parenté, 2009). I am also in charge of the Master's degree in Digital Humanities at the University of Rennes 2. I am a member of the Advisory Board of the ERC MAP project led by Corinne Bonnet (PLH, University of Toulouse Jean Jaurès) which aims at exploring the divine epithet systems of the Greek and West Semitic worlds, in particular using Social Network Analysis.
